ABOUT RAY AI

RAY AI is an international executive support company that matches world-class remote assistants with high-performing founders, startup operators, and venture capitalists across the US and Europe. We screen over 120,000 applicants every year. Fewer than 40 become RAYs.

Our clients have worked with senior executive assistants before. They know what excellent looks like. As a RAY, you are part of a global team – every month, all RAYs connect on a RAY Connect call for peer support and shared learning. Here is what our clients say:

“We would not be able to operate with the same level of structure and efficiency without Daniela’s support. The value she brings is significant and directly impacts how Green Horizon Partners functions day to day.”

– Jan Ripken, Co-founder & Managing Partner, Green Horizon Partners

Daniela | RAY AI Executive Partner | Bachelor’s in English – transitioned from a career in education

“Ash supports us across the business. Her support removes background noise and gives us peace of mind.”

– Philip Brohlburg & Johannes Sörenson, Founders, ahead

Ashleigh | RAY AI Executive Partner | BSc English Literature – background in sales and finance

One of our RAYs joined as an Executive Assistant. Within twelve months, they were promoted to AI Project Manager. Our longest-serving RAY has been with their client for nearly two years.

Duties & Responsibilities

As a RAY, you are your client’s operational partner. You build automations, produce financial reports, conduct research, and lead projects that improve how your client’s business runs structurally. This is a senior, high-trust role.

Manage your client's inbox, calendar, travel, and tasks – end to end, without supervision
Build and maintain AI-powered automations and workflows using Claude, ChatGPT, Zapier, N8N, and Notion – tools you are trained on before your first client match
Conduct research and produce polished reports for investor meetings, board presentations, and strategic decisions
Handle financial reporting, expense management, and accounting preparation
Lead long-horizon projects that improve how your client's business runs structurally
Anticipate your client's needs before they arise – if they have to ask you twice, something has gone wrong

Desired Experience & Qualification

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification
C2-level English, written and spoken – you will write on behalf of a founder to their most important clients and partners
High agency – the instinct to act without being told, take ownership of outcomes, and solve problems before they escalate. Assessed directly.
Genuine curiosity about AI tools – training is provided, but the curiosity must already be there
Exceptional organisational discipline and attention to detail – nothing falls through the cracks, ever
Discretion – your client will trust you with their most sensitive information from week one
